France Financial Consulting, FFC, is a niche energy consulting firm that was established in 1986 as a response to the deregulation of the natural gas industry in Saskatchewan and across Canada. FFC quickly grew its customer base by providing a completely independent energy consulting service with an emphasis on the end user. Since that time, our consultants have specialized in the natural gas & power markets, acting as negotiators for many industrial and institutional consumers in arranging supply contracts, as well as optimizing energy assets, providing risk reports, developing strategies, and transitioning energy management to energy sustainability. France Financial has long-term business relationships with key industry participants as well as with policymakers in a variety of areas in Government.
The business has experienced incredible customer loyalty, which the majority of clients being original to the late 1980s and early 1990s. Our dedication to customers has been demonstrated through the commitment from our partners – with the current partners, Corey and John, transitioning into the firm directly from the original partners.
As businesses evolved and globalized over the years, so too has FFC’s footprint. We manage a total natural gas portfolio of over 200,000 GJs/day from coast-to-coast in Canada and ten states in the U.S.
France Financial was purchased by Twin Eagle Resource Management in 2012. The Consulting Partners of France Financial are not employees of Twin Eagle but work under Consulting Agreements that stipulate delivery of independent consulting services to our clients.

John Law
SENIOR CONSULTANT
With more than 20 years of experience in the energy industry, John joined France Financial in 2017. Prior to France Financial, John held various senior leadership positions at SaskEnergy and TransGas, overseeing commodity hedging, gas management and business policy. During his time at the Crown Corporation, John spent five years in the Executive Mentorship Program and was a member of risk management, market optimization and leadership committees. John brings strong market insights, a focus on strategic energy portfolio management and well-established government and regulatory contacts. In addition to his consulting work with France Financial, John is an active member of TransGas Customer Dialogue and is the Vice-Chairman of the Saskatchewan Industrial Energy Consumer Association (SIECA).

Corey Patrick
SENIOR CONSULTANT
Joining France Financial in 2014 after more than a decade with SaskEnergy’s Gas Supply department, Corey Patrick brings over 25 years of energy industry experience. Corey’s time at SaskEnergy provided him with a well-rounded experience in the industry, including commodity procurement for SaskEnergy’s LDC, natural gas asset and storage optimization, management of producer services and industrial sales. Corey’s industry experience has allowed him to develop an extensive network of valuable contacts across Western Canada and the United States, garnering him valuable strategic industry intelligence and market information, which he is able to leverage for France Financial’s diverse client portfolio.

Sandro Moser joined France Financial in 2023, bringing an extensive eight-years of experience in the energy industry. His prior positions at Twin Eagle, focusing on both operational and analytical dimensions, and at Trafigura, specializing in risk management and trading, has provided with exceptional expertise in Energy Management Operations throughout Canada and the United States.
